Is it okay to play soccer after acl reconstruction and partial meniscectomy?

ACL + Meniscectomy: I treat professional athletes who have returned to competition after such procedures. But remember that successful surgery is only part of the process, which includes rehabilitation, nutrition, and treatment of associated soft tissue injuries not addressed in surgery.

Surgeon clearance: You will need to dicsuss your particular case with your surgeon. In general, however, a goal of ACL reconstrcutive surgery is to allow a patient to return to pre-injury level athletic activities. A partial mensicectomy is also quite commonly associated with ACL reconstruction.
