No: Pancreatic exocrine function occurs via the pancreatic ductal system which drains thru the ampulla of Vater, a nipple like structure that enters the duodenum. Stricture here can prevent the necessary emptying of the pancreas. This can be improved by sphincterotomy or cutting the muscle of the sphincter. Pancreatectomy removes all glandular function, both exocrine and endocrine.
