I was referred to pediatric pulmonary specialist, what should i expect?

Many questions: I am assuming you mean your child was referred. The specialist will review all available records and get a detailed history of your child's breathing issues as well as other medical symptoms that may be related. Your child will have a detailed physical exam and based on the history and physical may have testing of breathing capacity(spirometry), xrays or CT scan, and lab tests.
