A member asked:

How long can someone live after neuro endecrine tumour spread after op?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many years: Most neuroendocrine tumors other than lung tend to metastasize to the liver. Here for a solitary lesion, after neoadjuvant chemo, can be locally resected. Otherwise for several liver lesions, microwave ablation used, and other than that chemoembolization to the liver after angiogram shows feeding hepatic artery. Solitary or few lung lesions can be resected thru a thorascope .
