Possibly: The best way to tell would be to check your blood pressure several times a day at the same time for a week. That would give a better idea of what your blood pressure is doing.

High blood pressure: High blood pressure is diagnosed after 3 separate blood pressure reading > 140/90. Blood pressure varies every instant of the day, over time those with hypertension(HTN) are HTN the majority of the time. At this stage you are pre-HTN. Watch intake ( no added salt no salty foods, no TV dinners which are full of salt or canned foods . Monitor BP intermittently ( every 3-4 months). Don't worry.
