A member asked:

How much milk to you have to consume to have symptoms of lactose intolerance?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lactose intolerance: Even 8 ounce cup of milk can cause symptoms like gas, bloating, diarrhea, cramping in abdomen. Whole milk has less lactose than low fat or skim milk. Yogurt, cheese, butter have less. Aged cheese has lot less lactose. Lactose is mostly in the watery portion of the milk. Breast milk has even more lactose than regular milk!
