I have a few ms symptoms of which i am seeing a neuro. two days ago, i woke up with a stiff neck, and still today. is that a ms symptom?

Could be: It could be that your symptoms are from muscle spasm related to the MS. Or it could just be a muscle spasm from overuse or strain. If you have any other symptoms like fever or rash then you need to go to the emergency department as stiff neck with fever and rash can be a sign of meningitis. However, that is rare and if it is just a stiff neck it is probably spasm, try heat and advil (ibuprofen).

Not neck stiffness: Stiffness of the neck is often caused by sore or tired muscles, it is not a symptom often seen with MS. Hopefully it is feeling better now!

No: Neck stiffness could be due to muscular strain/sprains, cervical spondylosis, discogenic protrusion or herniation, but not a cardinal sign of MS.
