A member asked:

Hey i'm 36 weeks pregnant. i've been having reply bad burning sensation in my left legs when they go numb. what can i do to stop it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pressure: Likely there is some compression of a nerve that's causing numbness in your leg. Increased edema and swelling due to the weight of the uterus on the nerves running through the pelvis that innervate your leg is the cause most likely. I can nearly guarantee that this sensation and the numbness will go away entirely when you aren't pregnant anymore. If it remains after delivery, see a neurologist
