Yes: Takes time. Make sure area has no scratch or cut. If scalp intact try applying ice to cool down.

Entirely expected: I believe this question comes from the same person I just answered a moment ago but YES your symptoms are perfectly expected for a strong blow to the head & especially if you were knocked out. It should resolve in time. You could take some Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin if the pain interferes with your life. You could try warm compresses. Not TOO much OTC medication though. Other issues could start.
