I had surgery 3 1/2 months ago on my elbow. in the morning when i bend it,it fells like i'm tearing everything he did.i do my p.t. is this normal?

See surgeon: Doesn't sound normal after 3 months to me. I suggest you make an appointment with your surgeon who performed the surgery for a follow up visit and back down on the physical therapy until then a bit.

Elbow pain: At 3 1/2 months tearing sensation does not sound good. You may have some scar, synovitis, arthritis, tendinitis, etc.--really depends upon what your preop problem was. Check with your operative orthopedic surgeon now.

Normal scar issue: Stiffness in mornings and cold weather is a common early issue in patients who have undergone injuries or surgery near joints. Continue your PT and this should ease off with time.
