All of a sudden i have what appears to be a cloudy film over my left eye. i have no pain, itching or burning. what could it be?

Poor tear film: Easy remedy! If light film, then Warm compresses in the morning, and use lubricating drops to clear it up. But if it's a dark film or cloud, and you can't see out, then it could be a medical eye emergency, and you need to go to the ER or Urgent Care to see an eye doctor to make sure it's not a retinal detachment, or bleed.
