In the US, it would: be impossible, as it's a controlled substance, and can only be issued by a doctor, who has a DEA license to prescribe. So, you need to discuss with your doctor why you need to be on it, as no pharmacy will refill a narcotic prescription that is out of refills. Plus, your insurance company keeps track of your usage, and prescriptions. So, see if you can treat the cause of your pain first.

Contact the doctor: who prescribed the original to you would be the ONLY way. Hydrocodone, the active opiate in Vicodin (and all its clones) is no longer able to be refilled, and is now in DEA Class II, which does not allow refills. This is because it has become the most widely abused prescription opiate in the US. Most doctors will not refill it, and they are right!! You need to be re-evaluated.

Not on this site: You need to see your doctor to get it refilled. It has to be a hand written prescription and cannot be called in or e-prescribed. (federal regulation)
