Possibly.: 3 grams of Tylenol (acetaminophen) can cause liver damage in some people. It is now recommended to take less than 2 grams per day for that reason. I would let your liver rest today. No Tylenol (acetaminophen), no beer or rum or other alcohol, and no advil or motrin or Aleve. Yes, you might: The recommendations for tylenol (acetaminophen) are no more than 2 grams per day. The recommendations for safe alcohol use in men under 60 is no more than 2 drinks per day, no more than 14 per week, and never more than 4 on one occasion. In addition, alcohol makes tylenol (acetaminophen) WAY more toxic, and the combination should be minimized if not avoided altogether in those drinking more than those amounts.
