Violated trust: I am not sure how you met, but if you met this man in a professional setting, as your counselor then he most certainly took advantage of you. Florence nightingale syndrome is a condition in which a patient naturally develops feelings for their healthcare professional. In the states a counselor would lose their medical license for such inappropriate professional behavior. please seek help!

Boundary problems: If your psychologist became your boyfriend or if your boyfriend became your psychologist - both of these are boundaries that should not be crossed. Both have potential to harm you emotionally. Encourage you to seek out a therapist who cares and who maintains professional boundaries. Be well.
