Discuss with PCP or: Eye doctor. If they are heavy and painful, they need to be examined under a slit lamp to make sure there's nothing locally irritating them. Also, what has to be considered is thyroid dysfunction. So you PCP can check this, and make sure it's not a contributing factor. Also, your tear film needs to be assessed for dry eye syndrome & looking for other causes.This should help UR eyes & U feel better!
