A member asked:

Had the blood drawn at 10:00 am for my cortisol am blood test. is that too late in the day to get an accurate test result? just read 7-9am.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cortisol test: Cortisol has a circadian rhythm normally. A 10 am draw will be meaningful. It is a screening test. If less than 5, more testing needed.
