If i take an ativan before a cortisol am blood test, will the ativan effect my cortisol levels result?

Possibly: Reducing anxiety (Ativan ). Can lower cortisol levels but Ativan does not directly affect cortisol levels. So, if you took Ativan due to anxiety before the cortisol blood test the result could be a lower cortisol level than you would have had without the anxiety.
