Specializes in Pain Management

Neuropathy: Most likely neuropathy if it is affecting both feet. If only in one foot then there could be a different source such as a neuroma. Pain meds are sometimes not the best choice. Medications such as lyrica, (pregabalin) gabapentin, cymbalta are more effective with nerve pain. These meds take several days to weeks to become effective so stick with them if you are placed on them. Discuss with you Doc.

Ask your physician or a trial of medication specifically that addresses nerve pain: Event on your feet requires a different kind of medication that you been prescribed. There are several medications on the market that specifically addresses that type of pain such as Lyrica (pregabalin) or Cymbalta. You can ask your position why trial of either one of these medications. Natural alternative way in the meantime is Bee pollen from your local bee farms. Contains important vitamins that nourishes.
