Not usually: It is far more likely to be a symptom of either allergies, or a viral or bacterial throat infection. Try an over the counter antihistamine, and if you develop high fever or inability to swallow, call your doctor. If you have missed a period and believe you could be pregnant, take a pregnancy test. hope this helps!
