Worried about getting hibiclens in eye when treating acne. how much washing is needed just to be safe, are there hibiclens alternatives? nottriclosan

Hibiclens alternativ: Frankly, I do not think that Hibiclens is your best treatment option. I suggest you ask your Provider for a prescription fof sulfacet wash or one of the many oral (systemic) treatments for acne. In the mean time you should desperately try to avoid getting Hibiclens in your eye.

Triclosan is toxic: too. It's a known endocrine disruptor, and just about as bad as Hibiclens since both probably destroy the acid mantle, which protects the skin's surface barrier. If you're looking for gentle, organic cleansers, they're far and few between. Around the eyes, baby shampoo (organic or otherwise) are safest, and less destructive. Also, watch diet, and reduce refined sugars, processed foods, hydrate more!
