A member asked:

Donor fetus since older mom. does this constitute a high risk pregnancy, and if so how high of a risk is it?

Depends: I assume you mean you got a donor egg? If you got your egg from a young woman your baby is probably not at increased risk of having down syndrome. However, your pregnancy could still have additional risk if you have other medical problems like diabetes or high blood pressure. Talk to your obstetrician or midwife about whether they see any particular risks in this pregnancy.

Very high risk!: The maternal age and ivf aspects of this pregnancy are particularly high risk for complications!
