A member asked:

Small, isolated cramps in lower leg. first just the right, now just the left. d-dimer and heart tests all clear. 21, active. serious issue? any ideas?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Leg cramps: Some health problems increase leg cramps. Vitamin D deficiency, thyroid disease, and poor muscle condition can cause problems. If no health problems, try Magnesium supplements to ease the cramps, though this can have side effects of diarrhea and sleepiness. Get health issues checked out before continuing this and care if you have kidney problems or are on other medications.
