Since physiotherapy my throat has been burning when swallowing water. can tight throat muscles lead to inflammation?

Burning on swallow: Could be related to reflux, sinus issue,s consider omeprazole (a PPI anti-reflux medication). Also could be cricopharyngeal spasm. Discuss with your doctor/urgent care

Possibly Pharyngitis: PT does not trigger this. Either you are coming up with Viral infection ( Viral URI) and having Systemic inflammatory reaction, or you are having Bacterial Infection in Throat(Tonsils or Pharynx) and that also makes you sick. Rx High dose of VitC,Ginger Tea,Ibuprofen,Salt and warm water gargles. If not btter in 24 Hours seek your Doctors advise for possible Antibiotic Rx
