Acanthosis Nigricans: What you are describing is not going to be solved with anything topical. It typically occurs in individuals younger than 40, may be genetically inherited, and is associated with obesity or endocrinopathies - hypothyroidism, acromegaly, polycystic ovary disease, insulin-resistance, or Cushing's disease. See your doctor for exam & potential "treatments" depending on cause. Weight loss often helps.
