Probably not: Appy hurts around belly button to the front hip bone. I bet yours is higher. Sounds like acid reflux burned esophagus and may have gotten some into lungs which cause swelling and SOB with burping. I would try antacids and see if the help some. Think of it as a bad sunburn in your gut. It takes a week or two to heal. If it flares up more, see your doctor.
