A member asked:

If i had a small infection in my fallopian tube would it increase my crp and whiteblood cells? would it show up on a ultrasound?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible: Salpingitis can cause fever, pain, elevated WBC and elevation in inflammation labs like ESR and CRP (though probably not the cardiac C-rp). If the tube is distended with fluid (hydrosalpinx) or pus (pyosalpinx) that may show up on US if there is a significant amount.
