Can: C diff generally watery diarrhea, can be painful, with fever. Can be mild or severe, with bleeding, toxicity, even life threatening. Causea inflammation, may look ,like IBD (often looks different). IBD is risk factor for C diff (even in absence of antibiotic use). Need to exclude it in sudden flares of IBD .

Colonoscopy showed congested, erythematous, eroded and vascular-pattern-decreased mucosa in recto-sigmoid colon and sigmoid colon. IBD? Ulcerative Colitis ? What would the treatment plan be ?
A Calprotectin was 2900 in Aug (& I have years of high levels), capsule endoscopy and colonoscopy in Sep showed nothing. Oct calprotectin 19. What could have caused the high levels then? Wouldnt my intestines have signs if it was a crohns/UC flare?
To clarify. High grade (flat/invisible) dysplasia in random colonoscopy biopsy (UC patient). Is colectomy only option cause this type of HGD is so deadly OR cause it's not resectable (being invisible)? If latter, could chromoendoscopy offer any hope?
