Too much analysis: There's often too much analysis surrounding discharge at the time of ovulation. While, there is some information you can detect, discharge is not an exact roadmap. Ovulation causes thinning of the discharge, to make it easier for sperm to travel to the tubes of your reproductive system. There should not be any smell, and color is typically clearer than normal.

Spinnbarkeit Mucus: Also called Spinn mucus is highly elastic mucus present at the time of ovulation. It is decribed as stringy, and stretchy, odorless, colorless and leaves an elastic thread of mucus between fingers when they are moved away from one another. The consistency is similar to uncooked egg white. For more information you can google that term, you may find images that show Spinn mucus.
