A few ideas: Sometimes this type of pain could be a Bartholin's gland cyst. That would be accompanied by a ball-or cyst like structure on the side of the vulva. Another idea is a yeast infection. Vulvodynia is another possibility. Maybe get an exam and check up with your gynecologist to make sure nothing serious.
