Doctors are fallible: If, yesterday, your girlfriend didn't have the other symptoms you describe today, the doctors might have missed a diagnosis. Patients are always encouraged to return if they get new symptoms. It would help if you could go with her for medical care since you are concerned and well-informed. But don't delay.
