Caution is advised: Hilda Hutcherson, MD, who is a clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Columbia University Medical Center, has said it’s best to hold off on acrylic nails until after the baby is born. Why not consider a DBP-free, formaldehyde-free polish.
