Infection, stress: There are different types of white blood cells, & different reasons for the different cells to be elevated, for example, in the presence of bacterial infection or significant physical stress, the neutrophils can be elevated. In a viral illness, the lymphocytes can be elevated. Regardless, 3 weeks vomiting = very important to get seen by doctor for full evaluation of this.
