Unlikely: if the pain is on movement of the shoulder it is probably a localized shoulder problem. it could be arthritis, bursitis, tendonitis and can be relieved with motrin/ naprosyn (naproxen) or such medication or possibly an injection of steroids if it is in the right spot. See adoctor if you are concerned and indisposed as you determine the severity. Go to the ER if you feel it is an emergency
