Don't panic: It is actually fairly common for Plan B to cause an extra long and perhaps extra heavy period - so don't panic. But if you feel worse than is tolerable or if it goes past a few more days, do have an exam and describe the history well. This is a reason to use other safe birth/STD control protection regularly and save Plan B for emergencies. Take care, be well and don't panic.
