Likely normal: Given the progesterone release from the corpus luteum in the ovary after ovulation, the cervical mucus will often become thick and white to yellow. For many women, progesterone will make them very tired in the week or so leading up to menstruation. The cervix drops low during ovulation and becomes soft. However, during luteal phase the cervical position may vary.
