Yes: Skin infections are often treated empirically(for Grp.A Strep & Staph.aureus)w.oral dicloxacilin or cephalexix.In pts.who are not expected to comply w.several doses daily:levofloxacin or moxifloxacin.In pts.allergic to penicillins,clindamycin or azithromycin is good.Resistant strains are common,in which case,if possible(eg.if there is pus as opposed to cellulitis)culture should be done.Hope this h
