About right: You ovulate about 14 days after your last menstrual period, ovulation is about 14 days later with conception soon after. So if you miss your period, it is time to do a pregnancy test. The test is sensitive and requires a certain hormone level to be positive, so is only reliable poistive after missing your period

No, but: Sensitive pregnancy tests are usually reliable 11 days after ovulation (you can't know for certain "when" conception is, if you aren't certain it happened at all). You will improve the reliability of the test by waiting a few days longer, but testing at 11 days is okay. Good luck.

Not as accurate: A home test might or might not be positive if you are pregnant. Generally a week after missing a period home pregnancy tests will be positive if you are pregnant. A blood test performed by your doctor may be positive earlier. Thanks for trusting Health Tap!
