Test for dementia: This was developed to test for dementia and has not been validated in young people. It is simple testing theory and Baye's theorum. If you test people with a very low incidence of a disease, the positive test will be mostly false positive. The ability of a test to find disease is much better in a population with a high probablity of disease.
