No: Sounds like a reactive lymph node. These nodes enlarge and get smaller depending on infections in the body. Colds, ear infections, skin rashes can all make the node enlarge. Run it by your pediatrician at the next well visit exam. :)

Monitor for now: If your child is not experiencing any alarm symptoms such as persistent pain or fever, change in weight, sleep issues, swallowing problems, or the lymph nodes are not changing it's appearance, it can be monitored for now.

See doctor: Please don't assume it is a lymph node.There are several types of cystic masses in childhood.Take your little one to the doctor to check the mass.The good news is that 90% of neck masses in children are benign.
