A member asked:

Can you tell me about organ transplant technologies?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends upon organs: It really varies depending what kind of transplants.....organs like: Heart, lungs, liver, pancreas, small bowel, kidneys, hand, face etc....bone marrow, stem cell etc.....in anycase doctors will match recipients with the donor before any transplant through very specific immunological tests......better the match....greater the chances of not having any rejection....meaning your body will accept
