Surgical resection: The maxillary sinuses are on both sides of the nasal cavity. A tumor in the maxilla can be approached if small, thru elevation of the upper lip, a Weber Fergusson approach or a maxillectomy approach where the lip is split an the incision carried along the side of the nose. and to expose the wall of the maxilla which is then opened for tumor resection. RT and chemo may be needed.post op
