Info: Inguinal hernia repair can be performed laparoscopically or opr. Lap has less pain and shorter recovery, but only when done by a surgeon with substantial training and experience some say 250 cases, but the number is highly variable, and surgeon dependent. Best approach is the one the surgeon does best. Hope this helps!
