Pulsatile tinnitus?: Beta blockers are potentially a cause of tinnitus for some people. However, there are some people that have improvement of symptoms on beta blocker. With pulsatile tinnitus, for example, the beta blocker reduces the rate and intensity of the pulsating blood vessel passing the ear and thus reduces symptoms.
