Not true: Hi. Both males and females can get kidney stones. There are many types of kidney stones. The vastly most common stones are predominantly calcium oxalate with other more minor constituents, and they show no gender predisposition. Are you a stoner? If so, see a nephrologist or endocrinologist experienced in stone chemistry and treatment/prevention. But men = women for forming stones.

Men vs women stones: Men may have a tendency to dehydration due to labor environment; women though tend to eat high oxalate foods; men have a greater likelihood of uric acid problems; women risk stones thru pregnancies; diet and fluid intake matter for stone formations; to reduce risk: drink 4 liters fluid / day; minimize salt and meats; increase citrate intake: OJ 8 oz twice daily; ReaLemon extract 4 tblspn/day
