Not a very good idea: given your history. It is essentially a stimulant (a type of amphetamine)

I would caution: Amphetamines in a patient with multiple vascular and cardiac issues would not be recommended in my opinion. Maybe a consultation with this psychiatrist to voice your concerns would be helpful. Good luck
