Watery/slimy discharge for 1 wk/soaks undies. 28 weeks pg-no cervical length but have an in tact cerclage. dr says only worry about gushes or bleeding?!

Correct: Listen to your doctor. This can be a perfectly normal occurrence so stay in touch with your doctor about changes in amount and appearance of the discharge. Best of luck with your coming child.

R/O PPROM: You appear to have an incompetent cervix treated with a cerclage. If your cervix is thin, the watery/slimy discharge could be amniotic fluid and this needs to be examined. A 28 week fetus is viable and you currently are at risk for infection, preterm premature rupture of membranes (pprom), and may need to be hospitalized at bedrest. Your doc needs to consider abx and steroids for lung maturity.
