Probably not: The so-called dangerous area of face is an imaginary triangle, with its pointed end at the top of nose and the bottom line running across the middle of mouth, leaving the side of your face mostly out of it. Regardless, you should get checked out for proper care of the wound, which should be properly cleaned and treated with antibiotics as indicated

YES: Good to be worried - dog bites, even if no risk of rabies, can introduce bacteria deep into the skin and cause very serious infections. At risk areas include the face and hands. If there was any puncture type wound AT ALL from this bite, you need medical care and likely antibiotics to prevent a face disfiguring infection from setting in after wounds are cleaned up. Go today if possible!

See your doctor: Dog bites can cause infection and certainly the face is not a great place for an infection. See your doctor if the bite broke the skin to have it evaluated.
