Acetaminophen: Drinking warm liquids and getting plenty of rest would be helpful. If symptoms continue, get checked for strep throat.

Meds in pregnancy: Not many! - usually tylenol (acetaminophen) at the most - avoid ibuprofen and other like meds. Robitussin plain in small quantities for throat. For a sore throat - honey lemon tea - helps - salt water gargles will also help - 1/4 teaspoon of salt in 4-8 oz of warm water - dissolve and gargle and spit it out. good luck
