A woman's heartbeat: If a woman doesn't know if she is pregnant or not, and either she or another person is able to see a pulsating or beating movement in that woman's body, they are seeing that woman's own heartbeat or pulse. Seeing a beat or a pulse is not related to whether or not there is an unknown early pregnancy. However, seeing or feeling a huge pulse or bounding heartbeat can be the sign of a medical problem.

No: You are seeing your abdominal aorta pulsing. IF you were pregnant your fetus is very tiny , low in your pelvis in your uterus and no detectable heartbeat yet.

Not likely: That "heart beat" represents your heart beat that is transmitted from your heart through the major blood vessel of the body - the aorta. It has nothing to do with pregnancy. Even when your pregnant, due to your anatomy, it's not possible to see the fetal heart beat through your belly - that's why doctors have to use a stethoscope to listen to it or an ultrasound to visualize the fetal heart.
