Side Effects: Misoprostol is a synthetic prostaglandin E1 (PGE1) analog that is also used to prevent gastric ulcers. So it protects the stomach when you take Ibuprofen or other NSAIDs. Mifepristone can cause bleeding, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, fatigue, and fever. Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is a very rare but serious complication.
